Genesis Science Lecture Series

This class meets every Monday at 8:30 pm for about an hour in the Entin Library.  We are in our eighth year, having started with Genesis 1:1 and are now approaching the end of Leviticus.  We are usually joined live via skype from as far away as Florida, with a roster of an average of 15 – 20 people in attendance.  The sessions delve deeply into textual meaning and analysis, combined with input from the fields of archeology, the sciences, linguistics, mathematics, ancient history, to name just a few.  As a result, it is common that we “cover” only a verse or two in any given session as our discussions are quite lively!  Group participation is strongly encouraged and we supply the books and materials.  This class is taught by Judah Landa.
